"Just somewhere smaller, closer to work," Molly says, shrugging like she hasn't wanted to move for months and isn't so relieved to be doing so after all this time. "The apartment I'm in now, it was my boyfriend's before he disappeared, I'd moved into his place, so it's... weird, being there now. It kind of never really stopped feeling like his apartment, if that makes sense, instead of mine or even ours."
In retrospect, even early on, there had been so many little signs that things weren't quite right. It's no wonder that remained the case until he disappeared.
