It isn't really okay at all, Molly thinks, but she can't bring herself to say so. At least where the latter is concerned, Russell's right, even if she has to keep reminding herself of that, in spite of having seen the body herself, watched Lisbeth finish him off. It's with that in mind that she nods, trying hard to hold his gaze, like she can prove something to herself by doing so. Still, it's largely unnecessary. With just about anyone else, she would already have pulled away. As it is, after just a moment, regardless of the angle, she lifts her arms to wrap around his neck, drawing him close. It hurts a little in her shoulder, where there's a bandaged wound from where a nail went into it, but she doesn't care. Having him near means more.
"I don't know how this happened," she says after a few seconds. "I never would've thought, you know?" And yet, somehow, it had made sense, like something that had been there all along that she just hadn't been able to see. It makes her wonder distantly what else they might find at Patrick's apartment, but she can't bring herself to ask.
