"Yeah, of course," Russell says, his hand rubbing her back slowly. He mostly doesn't want to hurt her by accident, but he's at least partly lost in thought, too. There's so much information to collect, so many things to put together, but he's going to make damn sure no one else bugs her for another statement. The reporters are going to be bad enough, he thinks, and there's nothing he can do about that, but he can insist this statement be enough.

They'll probably even listen to him.

"I really don't think it's gonna be an issue," he adds, pulling back a little to look at her. "He's gone. There's not gonna be any trial, we won't need to go over everything again and again just so some asshole defense attorney can't get in somewhere. We got everything."
