"Thanks," Molly says, smiling at him when he steps away towards the coat check. "I'll be right here." It's only a moment after he's gone that she opens her purse, fishing out her cell phone. It hasn't escaped her notice that there've been eyes on them, and she wants to avoid that conversation, too, if she can. Maybe it's a cheap way of doing so, looking at her phone and pretending she's reading something serious, but it's not like it needs to work for long, just enough time for Lee to get back with their coats so they can leave. All joking aside, there really have been enough awkward and imposing questions for one night.
