Making her way through the park, dimly lit with the streetlights flickering, Molly isn't sure if she's relieved or more worried that she hasn't come across anyone else yet. It's less than ideal, being on her own, trying not to let herself think about how fucking terrifying this is, but at least there's nothing and no one yet who might try to do her harm, a far cry from the last time this happened to her, when it overtook the city in its entirety, or they all wound up here, or whatever the hell all of that was. The only thing she knows about it for sure is that, like so many other things, she barely walked away from it. There's no sense in hoping that she might be able to avoid something like that entirely this time, but she needs to get her bearings first, to stop and think and get out of the air that's thick with ash, to try not to freak the fuck out any more than she already is or at least get it out of her system somewhere comparatively less dangerous. Maybe for someone else, it would be a different story, but for her, it's the best way she's got to keep herself safe. She can't count on a last-minute savior here.
It's only when she emerges on the street again, hanging a right to continue in the direction of the church, that she spots someone else at last. At first, she doesn't think much of it, but then the figure, moving at a jog, comes fully into view, and she realizes it's someone she knows. "Kara!" she calls, tension and relief both evident in her voice, quickening her pace to head towards the other woman. All things considered, she doesn't know Kara especially well, not really, but seeing her now, someone familiar, it's all Molly can do to suppress the instinct to embrace her. She wouldn't wish this on anyone, not for the world, but at least she's not alone now. "Holy shit. You're the first person I've seen."
