"Yeah, I guess it'd change how things are now," he agrees, frowning faintly as he considers that. Everything in Darrow is good, really good and there's nothing in the world he would want in exchange for that. Being able to be here and live and be with Katie and have Jamie, that's all worth the pain of remembering his entire life back home is just gone.

"It's shit, though, that sometimes the fucked up things have to happen to make room for the good things," he says.
